Located in Langley, British Columbia Canada, Knelson exists to provide unique processing solutions to the world. Knelson consists of 3 divisions; Knelson Gravity Solutions (KGS), Knelson Research & Technology Centre (KRTC) and Knelson Engineering & Manufacturing (KEM).
Knelson Gravity Solutions
Knelson Gravity Solutions (KGS) is a technical services division catering to clients requiring gravity concentration expertise and turn-key processing solutions. KGS provides gravity testing, circuit modeling, process development, detail engineering, procurement, fabrication, installation and commissioning services for fully integrated modular gravity circuits worldwide.
Knelson Concentrators is a component of the full gravity solutions division, KGS, which designs and manufactures environmentally safe centrifugal concentrators, modular plants, analysis and laboratory testing equipment and related concentrate treatment equipment. The Knelson concentrator is primarily used in the recovery of precious metals such as gold, platinum and silver, as well as the enhanced gravity separation of base metals and industrial minerals.
The Knelson Concentrator is available in a range of sizes and production capacities. From small placer operations that process several hundred pounds per hour to the largest hard rock projects that generate throughputs of hundreds of tons per hour, these units can adapt to accommodate virtually any operation. Laboratory and in-field exploration equipment is also available.
With over 3,000 installations in over 70 countries worldwide, the Knelson Concentrator is the preferred choice of centrifugal concentrator.
Knelson Research & Technology Centre
Knelson Research & Technology Centre (KRTC) provides comprehensive gravity testing services to the mining industry. KRTC is also actively engaged in metallurgical research and development of new technologies for the mineral processing industry.
As a provider of gravity testing, KRTC conducts testwork as gravity grade tests and alluvial gold testing to determine the content of gravity recoverable target metals or minerals in a particular ore sample. R & D services are available to companies and universities engaged in mineral exploration, mineral processing, feasibility studies, assessment work and plant design. For complete details, go to KRTC.
Knelson Engineering & Manufacturing
Knelson Engineering & Manufacturing (KEM) provides quality custom engineering and manufacturing services. KEM offers a repertoire of skills to its global customers, derived from their involvement with the mineral processing, sawmilling, petroleum and pulp and paper industries. As a Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB) certified fabricator with Canadian Standard Association (CSA), control and automation capabilities offer value added solutions to client's manufacturing requirements. KEM offers the same world-renowned quality that has made Knelson Concentrators a premier product in their industry.
