4th Quarter Rally Pushes Knelson to New Record

Back to WHAT'S NEW

January 6th, 2003

LANGLEY, Canada - A late year sales surge has pushed annual sales at Knelson to record levels for 2002, the company reports.

"We're extremely pleased with the way the year has gone from a sales perspective, particularly the 3rd and 4th quarters," commented Doug Corsan, VP Sales at Knelson.

"We ended the first half of the year pretty much where we expected to be, but when the third quarter results came in as one of our best ever we knew that we were within reach of breaking our all time sales record set in 2000" he added.

Sales in the fourth quarter were highlighted by three KC- XD48 orders; Kinross Gold - Ft. Knox Mine in Alaska, USA; Goldenstar Resources Ltd. for their Bogoso Gold Mine in Ghana; and Goldfields - Abosso Goldfields Ltd. Damang Mine also located in Ghana.

"What makes this even more gratifying is that with the sale and shipment of these three XD48 units we have also set a new all- time single year record for KC-XD48 unit sales" said Corsan.

"On behalf of Knelson I would like to thank all of our loyal customers, our global representatives and our dedicated employees for their part in helping us to achieve these new sales milestones in 2002" Corsan concluded.
