October 5th, 2001 Vancouver, B.C. Canada - The B.C. Ministry of Competition, Science and Enterprise in partnership with Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters has released the names of the twenty-seven finalists for the 2001 B.C. Export Awards. These prestigious awards are presented annually and are open to all companies registered in B.C. that have been exporting for three or more years. Finalists are being recognized in nine categories, including New Exporter, Professional Services, Consumer Products, Manufactured Products, Advancing Technologies, New Media and Entertainment, Creative Partnering, Marketing Innovation and Market Sustainability. Knelson is pleased to have been selected as a finalist in the category of Manufactured Products. This category includes companies that build innovative systems or value-added components, machinery and/or equipment for a wide range of industrial and commercial uses. Winners and recipients of two more awards for which finalists were not chosen - Exporter of the Year and International Business Student - will be announced Oct. 22 at a ceremony at the Sheraton Wall Centre Hotel in Vancouver.
