One Year ends...
 Shortly after the BC Children's Miracle Weekend Telethon at the beginning of June, when Knelson donated a record annual contribution of $13,326,00, Knelson employees held their 15th annual Bocce tournament to kick off the 2011 Mining for Miracles campaign. Although Matt Chatterton holds the coveted title of 2010 Bocce Champion, Knelson employees enjoyed a fun filled week. BC's sick children were winners too, with $310 raised for MFM.
 At the company golf tournament in late September, the 50/50 generated another $340 for MFM when the winner, Don Jantz donated his winnings and Knelson met Don's challenge to match his contribution.
 At the end of October, Mining for Miracles will "score" again as Knelson employees aim for the bulls-eye in a Halloween dart tournament as part of our on-going fundraising and support for the BC Children's Hospital we raised another $159.50.
 On December 17th, the Knelson team got together to celebrate the end of another year, before being sent home for the holidays to be with their family and friends. A whopping, $1,275 was raised over the Christmas season to support the Mining for Miracles campaign. Since 1988, Mining for Miracles has raised $15,860,702 for BC Children's Hospital.
A new one begins...
 April 28th, 2011 marks the 21st Annual Jeans Day™ benefiting BC Children's Hospital. Jeans Day™ is a fun and easy event for people of all ages to participate in and show their support of BC’s kids. By purchasing a $5 button or $20 lapel pin, you get a chance to wear your jeans to work or school on April 28th and help the kids at BC Children's Hospital. Knelson is a proud supporter of Jeans Day™ and many other events through out the year. Stay tuned for more news regarding Knelson's participation with Mining for Miracles.
